CD Cover – a Photoshop project in Corel PhotoPaint
Making a CD cover.
The Photoshop version of this is here
Part 0 – File types
Theory. The first part of the first lesson.
Do now task (PowerPoint version)
Intro slides 1 (PowerPoint version)
Task slide (PowerPoint version)
Aim for 20-30 minutes on this. They don't seem to know it. You might want to get in to pixels as well.
Part A – Black and White
This part might be a lesson, it might be less, it might be more. It will depend on the skills the children come with.
This is about teaching skills, including file management and image types, not making the CD cover.
Non-destructive editing (PowerPoint version)
The idea of non-destructive editing is super important. If we can tie it in with version control that's helpful as well.
Now the creative bit...

Part C – More Colour – Selective colour and Overlays
The colour stuff may be two lessons. I'm not sure yet.

Making the CD Cover
Lesson 1 – plans
Lesson 2 – sourcing images
