That Blue Square Thing

Smarts Leisure Park Exam

The CIDA and DIDA courses will stop after Summer 2019. This means that unless you're starting Year 11 in September 2018 you won't be able to count this course as a GCSE subject. Which is a shame.
If I teach you and you're not going to be in Year 11 in September, then you probably need to look at the Creative iMedia pages.

The Smarts Leisure Park exam paper was the sample CIDA exma paper. Sample papers can be a little odd as they don't get quite as much checking as real ones. The layout is a little different as well, but it's not a bad paper to take a look at.

PDF iconSmarts Tricky Bits - every exam paper has slightly "tricky bits". A sound file and some standard issues with images and hyperlinks create some problems here. There's also a lot less text to use to fill out the pages with.

Ignore the clock task on this paper. There are so many technical prblems associated with inserting applets that I doubt the exam board will ever be able to use this part of the course in an exam. If they do then it's OK - it'll only be worth 1 or 2 marks. It's not worth spending 30 minutes trying to get those!
